India Indices - Tuesday Nifty Index opened up with +12.45 points at 6203.90 in positive trend from the previous closing at 6191.45 and closed in negative at -6162.25. The full day we saw hyper movement in Nifty but after the morning bell we saw totally down trend in Nifty but near end of the market day nifty index closed with some up movement but could not sustained to its previous level and the whole day Nifty Index traded between 6221.50-6144.75. At the end of the day Nifty future contract expiring on 30 Jan 2014 Loosed -0.53% ,-33.15 points to close at 6196.05 from the previous closing at 6229.20 with a premium 33.80 points and percent change in open interest of +8.44%.
Bank Nifty –Tuesday Bank Nifty index opened at +11097.80 in Positive trend with +48.75 point from the previous closing at 11049.05, After the morning Bell we saw hyper down trend in Bank Nifty Index but near end of the market day we saw normal recovery in Bank Nifty Index. The full day Bank Nifty Index traded between 11154.10-10892.15 and closed at 11036.75 with -0.11%, -12.30 points down from the previous closing 11049.05. At the end of the day Bank Nifty future contract expiring on 30 Jan2014 Loosed -0.17%, -18.95 points down to close at -11100.05 with premium 63.30 points and percent change in open interest of + 2.48% .
FII’s Activity – According to FII’s Activity On January 3 in F&O segment we saw FII’s were taking interest in index options only we saw hyper buying and selling in F&O segment of FII’s and short selling of FII’s in Index Futures and stock futures and options. By this activity of FII’s we can say that they can go in short position in particular segments to the next market day.
